Age can often be a definition of success, but try telling that to Wisconsin's own metal/hardcore band Cain & Abel. Having shared the stage with bands such as August Burns Red, The Color Morale, and Texas In July, and have played the past year's Cornerstone Festival and Warped Tour- all while still having the majority of the band in high school, these six boys have done nothing short of impressive in their two years of existence. Hailing from the suburb village of Menomonee Falls, Tyler Trokan (Vocals), Jake Noggle (Vocals), Jared Block (Guitar), Ike Weins (Guitar), Jeff Jelenchick (Bass), and Josh Fox (Drums) have grown up together and have been best friends several years before the band came to. All six went to the same high school, and five out of six even went to the same Catholic grade school. A big part of the reason they are a band is their faith. Block goes on to explain....

Caliban was formed in Hattingen, Germany in 1997 under the name Never Again".[2] After six months of playing together, the band recorded their first two songs for a demo, which were never released. The songs were sent to several record labels, and Lifeforce Records was the first to offer the band a record deal. The band's first self-titled EP came out in the summer of 1998. To promote it, Caliban played many shows all over Europe and a few support shows for bands including Morning Again, Earth Crisis and Cro-Mags.

Debut 7" by this Australian hardcore band and it's a loud, raw,
and fucked up mess... this sort of reminds me of Dry Rot
playing through Firmeza 10's equipment... in other words, the
sound of the record is raw as fuck in the vein of a lot of the
newer noise punk bands, but the music is fucking weird as shit
with lots of strange twists and turns and tons of noise and
discordance. If you're into stuff like Timebombs or Cult Ritual
you'd be well-served to check this out.

Agnostic Front is an American Hardcore punk band. The band began playing hardcore punk similar to their contemporaries, and were thrust to the forefront of the burgeoning New York hardcore scene in the mid-1980s with their widely regarded 1984 classic Victim in Pain before evolving to incorporate thrash metal elements into their music. By the late '90s, Agnostic Front had signed with Epitaph Records and adopted an Oi! sound before growing into a crossover metallic hardcore hybrid similar to bands like Blood for Blood.

Victims formed back in 1997, in their home town of Nyköping, Sweden. The band's aim was simple... to play hardcore punk rock, straight up and right to the point, with particular influences being Swedish Discharge-style and 80's American hardcore.

In the fourteen years that have passed since those early days of rehearsals in “Nypan”, the band have released a catalogue of lp's and 7”s, touring Europe and the US extensively whilst doing so. Along the way they've experienced highs and lows, seen line up changes and personal tragedy, they've been robbed in Italy and hospitalised in the USA. They've also played with a host of great bands and made some life-long friendships.
