Stillborn Records has officially signed Florida six-piece, Catalepsy.The band just completed their debut full length, "Iniquity" at Tampa's Mana Studios with producer Brian Elliott. As I Lay Dying is one of many, many bands to throw
their hat into the Swedish-influenced metal-hardcore
ring in the early 2000s, joining fellow metal-label
signees as God Forbid and Shadows Fall (Century Media)
and Killswitch Engage (Roadrunner), among many others.
Frail Words Collapse is a solid example of its genre,
carrying the stereotypical hallmarks of harmonized
dual-guitar riffing (often reminiscent of In Flames or
Iron Maiden), heavy double-bass drumming, and roaring
vocals that occasionally slip into a melodic,
clean-voiced emo style. There are also a few more
dissonant, "technical" passages that nod toward
Converge and their ilk. While not an obvious clone of
any other specific band, As I Lay Dying doesn't really
add anything new to the mix from a musical standpoint.
Then again, the songs here are solid enough and well
executed, and the production is adequate (if a little
too clean and digital sounding). This album will appeal
mostly to devoted fans of the genre who are looking for
another slight variation on the In Flames-influenced
metal-hardcore style.

INTRODUCCIÓN

Hoy conoceremos otros dones del Espíritu Santo que son útiles para la edificación del cuerpo de Cristo.

I. OTROS DONES DEL MINISTERIO.

A. Dones ministeriales.

1. Apóstoles: termino usado para los pastores y misioneros, aunque hoy lo ocupan para pastores generales o superintendentes. (Efesios 4: 11)

2. Profetas: Quien da a conocer las buenas noticias de salvación, hoy en día hay don de profecía por el espíritu y no profetas de oficio (Mat. 11: 13)

3. Evangelistas: predicadores que van de lugar en lugar predicando, no tienen una Iglesia donde estacionarse.

4. Pastores: Responsables de cuidar y velar por la obra del Señor, uno de los dones más complicados y sufridos del ministerio, porque se trata directamente con los problemas de la gente (distintos caracteres)

5. Maestros: Personas dotadas para explicar la palabra del Señor; son los líderes de los Grupos Familiares, Escuela Dominical, maestros de la Biblia: Pablo, Bernabé, Apolos (Hechos 18: 25-28); Timoteo, Tito, (Romanos 12: 8).

B. Dones de la membresía de la Iglesia.

1. El don de servicio (Romanos 12: 7)

a. Es el mejor don y considerado como el mayor de todos (Juan 12: 26)

b. El servidor tendrá el mayor privilegio en los cielos (Mat. 20: 26)

2. El don de exhortación.

a. Son los que se ocupan en estimular y desafiar a otros conforme a las escrituras (Prov. 25: 11)

b. Motivar a otros a perseverar en la fe, exhortar no es regañar, sino motivar a dejar el mal.

3. El don de repartir.

a. Este don tiene que ver con aquellos que dan cantidades extras a sus diezmos, ofrendas o promesas de fe para la obra del señor hechos 4: 36-37.

b. Bernabé dio todo lo que tenía para bendecir la obra.

c. Los hermanos de Macedonia, siendo pobres dieron más allá de sus fuerzas (2ª Cor. 8: 1-5; Rom. 15: 26-27)

d. Los hermanos de Acaya, tenían un año de estar listos para dar (2ª Cor. 9: 2)

4. El don de presidir.

a. Este don consiste en saber dirigir una reunión.

b. Hay creyentes que tienen gracia para hablar, dar los anuncios en la Iglesia. etc.

5. El don de misericordia o consolación.

a. Son los que cuidan de los enfermos o afligidos.

b. Hay gente que toma carga por las aflicciones de otros y oran por ellos.

6. El don de administrar (1ª Cor. 12: 28)

a. Este don consiste en saber cuidar los bienes de Dios.

b. Dios nos pedirá cuentas a cada uno de cómo hemos administrado sus bienes (1ª Cor 4: 1-5)

c. Pedirá cuentas a los que no diezman, ni ofrendan para su obra.

CONCLUSIÓN: Hay otros dones con los cuales Dios usa a sus hijos, solo déjese usar por ellos.

Hailing from Detroit, MI this five-piece band does not compromise
the integrity of their music for anyone. Heavily influenced by
Swedish metal and infused with the very brutal sounds of Florida
death metal scene, The Black Dahlia Murder┤s debut release
Unhallowed blends the perfect mix of blast beats, heavy guitars
and melody. What starts off with a low audio clip of vocalist
Trevor reading from a book on cannibalism quickly and quite
brutally jumps right into a full force attack on your senses, that
does not let up until the album┤s end. This venomous, yet melodic
death metal outfit named after the brutal unsolved slaying of
wannabe actress and temptress Elizabeth Short draws influence from
forefathers such as At The Gates, Dissection and Carcass. What The
Black Dahlia Murder does is up the speed and intensity of the
style into a gore-soaked whirlwind all their own. They seamlessly
twist from destructively fast blast beats to beautiful and dark
melodic textures, creating a soundtrack to the horror and insanity
surrounding the Black Dahlia legacy. The only thing better than
hearing this band on their new full-length release is to catch
them drawing blood live. The stage presence of this band
completely transcends the hair swaying posing that this genre has
become accustomed to, reintroducing an unbridled energy long
